67The Truth Is...
The truth is very powerful, as it has the potential to ruin lives, as much as it can also cure lives, people are often seeking knowledge, but surely to seek knowledge, we also have to seek the truth, people often say that 'the truth hurts.' I believe if you cannot take the truth then you simply need to develop yourself as a person, sometimes you may not even need to be told the truth, sometimes, people will show you without even realising it themselves; I, myself have learnt this the hard way;
But I Do Love You...
"I Can Never Trust You..."
This is not an article telling you how hard life can be, neither is it an article telling you what to do when life brings you down to your knees, begging for the slightest bit of sympathy; even from a stranger, this is simply just an article on when life tells you something about yourself that you did not know yourself, when even those closest give you a reason not to believe anymore, people will often tell you how you cannot trust anyone but yourself and how you should trust your family, because at the end of the day, they are the ones that will always be there for you, well, I would love to ask those people myself; what if it is your family who are the ones who are bringing you down? What if it is your own father who has lost trust in you, therefore you also losing trust in them?
Sometimes, in life, you can carry on saying to yourself, that you can change your ways, become a better person, in one way or another, or you can simply ignore those people who are doubting you, prove not just them wrong, but prove yourself wrong and admit to not just yourself, but to everyone, that you are who you are and I am not going to change, no matter what life does to me, I will fight each and every battle life brings to me!
I know exactly what it is like to think that you may have lost that person that you love the most out of everyone in the entire world, even for that split second, the anger and the shivering it can cause to think you may have lost that person, not literally, but their soul, their personality, their smile that never failed to bring a smile on your own face. I, myself, for that split second believed in 'black magic.' Often, people will say that your mother is the one who gives you birth, therefore is the most important out of the two parents and that the father is simply the provider, for some people, a father is all that they have, some people do not know what it is like to have a mother to confide in, because that's how destiny prevailed it to be. I know exactly what it is like to immediately lose faith in yourself, just because you have lost that one person, even for that split second.
Then you suddenly wake up and realise that I will fight for it, I will fight for my father, I will fight for myself to have him back, I will fight for what is right. You realise that there are people in much worse situations out there and that they would probably give their right arm to be in your situation, if you never let yourself back down before without fighting for it, then why back down now?
I am not going to tell you what my problem was or is, but what I am going to say is that, no matter how much you may think that you will never trust that person, or yourself even, if you even care about that little orphan on the street begging for water, you will give it a try anyway, you will give life another try.... And another.... And another

Welcome to the truth, as you said yourself, it often hurts. But it also has the knack of leveling a lie! Practice the one thing that I found my most powerful advice and that is adaptable to every life situation. "Never... Never Listen to Anybody More Negative Than Yourself!" In that way, you will always embrace positive elements and draw them into your life and those of others! Perhaps with this wisdom, you have the positive opportunity to also never be in a situation, where 'the truth' can hurt.

Great Hub! This really hit home for me.
Constructive feedback can help you gain in leaps & bounds. However, negative comments & treatment, especially from family members can cut very deep. My family is very controlling & critical to the point that I was paralyzed from even trying to achieve. It took a long time & gargantuan effort but I don't associate with them anymore. I also "delete" friends who try to cut me down.
Sad...
But now I'm free, flying high, achieving my dreams & I'm very happy.

Life is often a struggle. When someone I know is going through and tough time I tell them to get mad. I tell them pretty much what you are saying.
As far a promotion goes I think you are doing a rather clever job. You are certainly a lot more creative and energetic in promotion than I am.
I think you have talent to write and hope you write some more hubs. One thing about life is there are good times and tough times but they all pass my eventually. Life will get better for you too.
